A DRIVER was killed when his car smashed through a Tickhill shop and into two bollards.

The 60-year-old Maltby man was driving along Castle Gate at around 5.45am on Friday when his silver Hyundai Trajet mounted the pavement and crashed into a store front and a bollard.

The car came to a stop after crossing St Mary’s Gate and hitting another bollard.
