Windfall marks community centre’s summer fair

Cllr Chris Read attended the event at the Brecks Community Hub to present Jodie Goodall, who reopened the centre earlier this year, with a cheque for £1,416.

The money came from the Wickersley ward councillors’ Community Leadership Fund.

The hub – at Brecks Crescent — offers a timetable of regular weekly activities including fitness classes and children’s sessions, as well as a regular coffee Afternoon on Tuesdays from 1.30pm to 3pm and a Coffee & Craft morning from 11am to 12.30pm on Thursdays.
