WE have eight pairs of tickets to give away to see the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll in action – or the next best thing!
On Saturday October 6 Magna will play host to The Journey of Elvis, a unique show, never seen before in the region.
The show is co-promoted by Magna and Rotherham-based agency New York Events Management and is set to be an amazing day and night, celebrating the life of one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century, Elvis Presley.
The event will take you on a journey of Elvis's life with some of the best Elvis Presley tribute artists in the country, with confirmed performers including Darren Graceland Jones, Simon Patrick, Dean Mack, Mike Nova, Emilio Santoro and Tulsa McLean aka Carn CC Ryder.
Doors open between noon and midnight and the show kicks off at 1pm starting with his Rock ‘n’ Roll years, followed by Down in the Jungle Room, his Greatest Hits, onto the Gospel era, taking you into the night where it all began at Sun Record Studios, his movies, the ‘68 Comeback Special, ‘69 to That’s The Way it is, finishing off with the Vegas special.
The full day and night event will also include a competition for the Best Dressed Elvis, open mic sessions, charity raffle and memorabilia auctions.
