WIN! A family ticket to this Year's Cannon Hall Farm Pumpkin Festival

A BUMBLING wannabe wizard has moved into a Yorkshire visitor attraction — just in time for its annual Pumpkin Festival.

The event at Cannon Hall Farm has been refreshed this year with a magical twist to delight the little ones.

We have four family tickets to give away for this treat not to be missed!

Not only are there thousands of pumpkins available but children will also be issued a spell book challenge which they can work through towards graduating from Cannon Hall Farm’s very own wizardryschool.

Farm director Robert Nicholson said: “OurPumpkin Festival really has gone from strength to strength in recent years and it’s a day out that people really seem to enjoy.

"Our farmers all become carvers and we really enjoy helping the families make their spooky lanterns.

“We seem to do more and more each year to make it a really good day out. As a family run attraction we really do want to make sure all the families visiting us have a really great day and make some fantastic memories.

“It never fails to amaze me how much effort our visitors put into this event.

I’ve seen some amazing fancy dress over the years.”

The Pumpkin Festival — which runs October 20, 21, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31 - offers an absolutely packed themed day out.

Young witches and wizards will be given their own spell book sheet and will have to complete the challenges in Cannon Hall Farm’s Forbidden Forest to graduate top of the class and claim a sweet treat from Professor Monocle.

There will also be regular shows with Barry the wannabe wizard and his wily professor, and these 15 minute performances will be held in the hall’s new indoor event space.

Visitors are also encouraged to wear fancy dress — and spot prizes will be offered by farm staff to those who have made a special effort.
