White van man yob hunted by police

AN INVESTIGATION is underway to find a young man who damaged the windscreen, headlights, doors, mirrors and bonnet of a van.

The man caused extensive damage to a Ford Transit Connect at around 9.15pm on Sunday, September 24, when it was parked outside a property on Waverley View, Catcliffe.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “The man was described as aged between 19 and 21, white, tall and skinny with dark hair and was wearing a dark tracksuit.

“Officers are appealing for any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time, or saw the incident, to report it.”
