Whiston mum's tribute to lost children
A PUBLIC tribute was paid to stillborn babies with the release of dozens of colourful balloons.
Toni Connell led the event at Rotherham Cemetery on Thursday in memory of her late daughter Violet, who was stillborn nine years ago today.
The mum, from Whiston, performs the release every year to mark Infant Loss Awareness Month, with the names of several babies written on tags attached to the balloons.
