Wheelie bin torched in Goldthorpe and Wath

ARSONISTS torched wheelie bins in Goldthorpe and Wath overnight.

Firefighters from Dearne station were called to Victoria Street, Goldthorpe, to one wheelie bin on fire at 7.55pm. They left the scene after ten minutes. 

A bin was reported to be on fire at Saville Road, Wath at 11.50pm.

A crew from Dearne attended and was at the scene for 15 minutes.

Both fires were believed to be deliberate, said a spokesperson from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
