Wheelie bin set alight in Mexborough

A WHEELIE bin was set alight in an arson attack in Mexborough last night (Tuesday).

Firefighters from Dearne station were called to Victoria Road at 11.20pm where a wheelie bin had been set alight in an alleyway, a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.

They were at the scene for about 15 minutes.
