Wheelie bin and rubbish fires in Edlington
A WHEELIE bin and a pile of rubbish were torched by arsonists in Edlington last night (Sunday).
Firefighters were called to Church Road at 7.10pm after a wheelie bin was set alight in a skate park.
They were at the scene for over two hours, leaving at 9.30pm.
Later, the Edlington station crew tackled a rubbish fire in Prince's Crescent at 11.40pm for ten minutes.
A South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said both fires were deliberate.
