EMERGENCY services were called after a visitor to Wentworth Woodhouse fell ill on a rooftop tour.

The incident happened on Saturday, a spokeswoman for Wentworth
Woodhouse Preservation Trust said.

“A visitor believed to have a pre-existing medical condition was suddenly taken ill while on a tour at Wentworth Woodhouse on Saturday,” she added.

“Staff and volunteers reacted swiftly. Emergency were called immediately and the gentleman was taken to hospital.”
