Weekender wedding fair helps couples plan their big day

COUPLES planning their big day joined the Weekender team for our Spring wedding fair.

Brides and grooms-to-be browsed the wide range of exhibitor stands and chatted to wedding professionals to get expert advice.

The Pastures Lodge at Mexborough hosted the event which featured photographers, table decoration and stationery suppliers, florists, cars and limos, cakes, dresses and more.

All guests received a complimentary glass of Bucks Fizz on arrival, a goody bag, and a wedding dress-shaped-biscuit courtesy of Cakes by Kate Butler.

Brides-to-be were also entered into a prize draw to win one of four bottles of bubbly, plus the chance to win a honeymoon courtesy of The Wedding Guide.

Event organiser, Tracie Midgley, said: “Thank you to all the people attended, it was a great day and we look forward to seeing you again at our autumn wedding fairs.”
