Wath youngsters excperience drama behind one of country’s most famous theatre schools

STUDENTS were given a sneak peek behind the curtain at one of the country’s best-known drama schools.

A group of 39 teenagers from Saint Pius X Catholic High School in Wath took part in a workshop with professional actors and actresses, met stars from Motown The Musical and visited the Sylvia Young Theatre School.

There, they worked with the staff on music, dance, drama, audition techniques and were given the chance to meet and quiz school founder Sylvia Young.
