Wath road closed due to 'dangerous manhole covers'

A ROAD in Wath has been closed because it has "dangerous manhole covers".

Derwent Way, off Pontefract Road, has been closed under an emergency order from Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council.

A spokeswoman for the council said Yorkshire Water had been asked to attend to make the road safe.
