Wath residents’ chance to have say over housing
CONSULTATION over plans for housing in Rotherham’s over the next 15 years is coming to Wath next Friday (5).
Rotherham Borough Council says it needs 12,750 new homes by 2027 and about 1,000 acres of green belt could be affected.
The Local Plan — formerly called the LDF — will be shown at a drop-in session at Montgomery Hall from 2.30pm to 6.30pm.
