WATCH: Van and mopeds seized at retail park after Transit spotted "power sliding"

A PROBLEM area known for “boy racers” and bad drivers proved a hotspot for motoring offences again at the weekend.

The driver of a Transit van (pictured) caught the attention of the police for “power sliding” around Cortonwood Retail Park.

Officers from South Yorkshire Police’s Operational Support Unit said there was “zero tolerance” for this type of behaviour.

“Van immediately seized under police reform act, driver dealt with for driving without due care and attention,” tweeted an officer on Sunday.

The previous day, the team also tweeted about two scooter drivers who had been seen driving erratically at the retail park.

The drivers were arrested after both failing roadside drugs tests

One rider was also found to have no insurance and his bike was seized.
