Warning over noise ex-mental health unit knocked down

ROTHERHAM Hospital’s neighbours are being warned of disturbance during demolition work on the site.

A disused mental health unit off Baker Street is being pulled down and the work could take up to 16 weeks.

Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust bosses are warning that there may be some disruption.

Hospital users are also being warned that the bus stop opposite the unit will be closed.

The main doorway to the entrance for the Counselling and Psychotherapy Service and general management corridor on Level D will be closed for the duration of the work and the entrance near to the lifts off the PGME corridor on Level D should be used instead.
