Wanted trio arrested after Rawmarsh stand-off

An officer said: “They threatened to set fire to the premises should officers enter, and harm any officer coming in.
“TSG officers forced entry carrying shields, as the occupants armed themselves with hammers.
“Unfortunately for them, TSG quickly and forcibly took control of all occupants.”
Police arrested the trio at around 4.30pm.
Enquiries are ongoing and South Yorkshire Police has been contacted for an update.
