Wanted man Terry Platts has links to Mexborough

Officers in Doncaster are hunting 24-year-old Terry Platts from the Rossington area.

Platts is wanted in connection with two reported assaults in Doncaster and a breach of a restraining order and is for recall to prison, said a spokeswoman from South Yorkshire Police. 

It was reported that on two separate occassions on February 21 and February 26, a 19-year-old woman had been assaulted in the Rossington area

"The woman was also understood to have been subjected to verbal threats on February 26," added the spokeswoman.

"Her injuries did not require hospital treatment."

Officers want to hear from anyone who has seen or spoken to Platts recently, or knows where he may be staying.

Platts is known to frequent Doncaster town centre and the Rossington area. but also has links to Mexborough and Barnsley.

"He is described as being around 5ft 7ins tall, of stocky build with curly blond hair," added the spokeswoman.
