Vote for satire with a musical about Boris

CRIPES! If you’re sick and tired of the General Election — and who isn’t? — there is a chance to take a more comical look at one of the country’s more distinctive politicians.

Boris the Musical! is coming to Doncaster’s Cast Theatre on Thursday, June 15, and Friday, June 16, offering a satirical look at the infamous Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson.

Described as a blend of biography, Brexit farce, and musical satire, Boris mixes pop with punk, tango and gospel.

Featuring a live band, audience members will hear songs such as I’m Talking about Brexit!, Posh Lads, and Me and My Johnson.

Made by Sheffield-based Blowfish Theatre, the show first premiered last summer after the Brexit Leave result.

Tickets for Boris — the Musical! cost £10.50 or £9 concessions and are available at castindoncaster.com and via 01302 303959.
Performances kick off at 7.45pm.
