Volunteer's upset over van theft

A COMMUNITY volunteer has seen his efforts made more difficult after the theft of his Transit van.

The man, who did not wish to be named, mainly used the vehicle for his allotment work, which supports good causes such as Shiloh and the Salvation Army.

A family member said: “We were shocked. He is finding his charity work quite difficult without the van but is just trying to focus on the fact that no-one was hurt.”
