VIP chef cooks lunch for Bluebell Wood hospice

STAFF, parents and youngsters at a children's hospice were in for a treat when an extra special visitor cooked up a storm at lunch time.

The Mayoress of Rotherham, Miss Wajida Naseem and two volunteers cooked  y lunch for everyone at Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice.

Miss Naseem was joined by her uncle, the Mayor of Rotherham, Cllr Shaukat Ali, as she visited the hospice with ingredients to make her home-made biryani. 

She said: "I enjoyed cooking and was very pleased when Bluebell Wood asked me to come and cook a meal.

"This organisation is our chosen charity and it was good to work together with them as a team.

"My special thanks go to the staff at Bluebell Wood, especially John the chef who allowed us to use the kitchen and he was very helpful in assisting us."
