Village date for Boy on a Dolphin

A HIT band scheduled to play Sheffield City Hall later in the year are preparing to air new material at an intimate village hall gig.

Around 80 people are expected to pack into Letwell Village Hall for gigs on two nights when Sheffield-based Boy on a Dolphin return for two nights of music on Wednesday (30) and Thursday (1).

The band, who will be playing at Sheffield City Hall in December, have made an annual pilgrimage to the tiny venue for the past three years and plan to use this latest visit as a showcase for a series of new tracks.

Event organiser Martyn Sharpe said: “It’s fantastic that Boy on a Dolphin are coming back to the village again just a few months before their Sheffield City Hall gig.

“Everyone is really eager to hear their new material along with some of the old favourites. It should make for two great nights of music.”
