THERE are 170 police officers taking part in today's Operation Duxford - here Chief Inspector Rebecca Chapman, who is leading the operation, explains what the operation is and why it is happening.

South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner Dr Alan Billings said: “Operation Duxford is very important across South Yorkshire and it has a big impact on the community.

“That’s important because South Yorkshire Police are at that tipping point now and we are on the up and that’s really good news.”
