VIDEO: The Saints Lambretta Club hits the road in Whiston

ROTHERHAM Lambretta club The Saints, founded in 1957, have a day out riding in Whiston.

Club founder Eric Duke (86), of Broom, was only the second person in Rotherham to own a Lambretta.

Eric died at his home last month, after an illness. He appears at the start of this footage, riding his red and silver scooter with his wife Betty.

Eric is survived by Betty and his two daughters, Katy (56) and Sally (54).

Do you recognise yourself or someone else in this footage?

Below are more photos of Saints members in the town centre, kindly provided by Howard Battersby of Whitehill Road, Brinsworth.
