VIDEO: Police appeal to trace Rotherham builder

OFFICERS from Rotherham are appealing for help to trace a man they want to speak to in connection with an incident of fraud in Scholes.

Police say a man attended a property on Hesley Grange, at noon on Tuesday, June 4 and offered to do building work and block paving for two elderly residents.

"The couple paid the man £1,600 and agreed he would return a few days later to carry out the work and the man never returned," a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police said.

The man is described as having a white van with a wood chip machine trailer on the back.
