VIDEO: Pianist stuns Rotherham Hospice shop staff with impromptu performance

A MYSTERY musician had heads turning when he sat down at a piano in a charity shop and started to play.

The as-yet-unidentified pianist stunned staff at the Rotherham Hospice shop in Maltby with his impressive rendition of Danny Boy.

The hospice shared a video of the performance, which you can see on our website.

A spokeswoman tweeted: “We were wonderfully surprised when a customer and supporter at our shop in Maltby popped in and asked if he could play a tune on a piano we had for sale.

“Our anonymous musician has never had a day’s lesson on piano and is actually a keen drummer!”
