VIDEO: Investigation launched after death of woman in Thurcroft last night

Emergency services were called to a property in Cedric Crescent just before 8.50pm following reports of an altercation, said a police spokeswoman. 

"A woman believed to be in her 30s was found to be in cardiac arrest. She was treated by medical staff at the scene but was pronounced dead shortly after."

A 39-year-old woman has been arrested in connection to her death and remained in police custody this morning.

A police cordon is in place at the scene as officers carry out their enquiries and work to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
