An officer from Rotherham Central Neighbourhood Policing Team posted a video on Twitter which showed him exploring the property and removing a wooden panel, leading to the discovery behind the "hidden compartment".

He said it was not yet known how much the cannabis was worth because it had not yet been weighed.

The officer said the cannabis would be destroyed in a furnace which would "reduce the criminal activity in Rotherham, just a little."

No arrests were made and an investigation is underway.
