It was part of the NCS programme run by Rotherham United Community Sports Trust and partially funded by Tesco Bags of Help.

Members story-boarded their idea after NCS graduate Reece Mitchel suggested creating a video rather than posters.

And project manager Carole Foster said: “I can’t believe the outstanding work that the young people have undertaken.

“I was truly astounded at their ideas and how impactful the video was. I showed the film to a friend who is a professional film producer and he couldn’t believe their imagination and talent.”

The video will be used by schools and voluntary sector groups to push the water safety message.
