Video: CCTV footage released after town centre stabbing

DETECTIVES investigating last week's stabbing in Rotherham town centre have released CCTV footage of three people they want to identify as part of their enquiries.

Officers were called to All Saints' Square at around 10.15pm last Wednesday following a report that an 18-year-old man had been stabbed.

On arrival, they discovered an 18-year-old woman had also been assaulted and robbed, said a police spokeswoman.

The spokeswoman said the injured man was taken to hospital with a stab wound to his abdomen and was now recovering at home.

"The woman did not require medical treatment," she added.
