VIDEO: Archive footage of Paul Shane's Rotherham tour

TAKE a trip down memory lane with the late, great, Paul Shane, as he proudly takes viewers on a tour of the borough.

The Wentworth Music Festival (@WentworthLive) tweeted archive footage this week of the actor and comic in the village, which was first broadcast on the BBC in August 1982.

Thrybergh-born Paul, best known for playing Ted Bovis in Hi-de-Hi, takes a trip back to his old stomping ground of Spurley Hey school and tries out some of his jokes on the pupils in woodwork class.
