Vehicle set alight in Scholes arson attack

Firefighters from Rotherham station were called to the deliberate fire on Hesley Grange at 11.50pm and were at the scene until 1.15am, a spokesperson for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.

Crews from the station had been called to an accidental garden fire at Caine Gardens, Kimberworth, at 8.45pm, added the spokesperson.

They extinguished the fire and left the scene at 9.06pm.
