Vehicle fire in West Melton

FIREFIGHTERS were called to West Melton on Saturday to put out a vehicle fire.

Crews were called to Barnsley Road at 9.50am after a fire broke out in the engine compartment of a vehicle.

Firefighters were at the scene for around 20 minutes, a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said, and the fire is believed to have started accidentally.
