Van driver punched and bricks thrown after collision

A DRIVER was punched in the face by a motorcyclist following a collision.

A blue box-style delivery van was involved in the collision with the off-road motorbike on Oldgate Lane, Thrybergh, at around 2pm on Friday, May 26.

The motorbike rider, and two unknown men driving another vehicle which pulled up at the scene, threw bricks at the blue van.

Police said one of the men then assaulted the van driver and punched him in the face before the motorbike and second vehicle left the scene.

Anyone with any information should call police on 101 or email enquiries@southyorks.pnn.police.uk, quoting incident number 603 of May 26.
