Van driver fined for parking on pavement

A VAN driver who was delivering a bouncy castle was fined by police for blocking a pavement.

Officers from South Yorkshire Police Operational Support found the silver Renault in Tinsley today (Wednesday) parked across almost the entire width of a pavement.

The officers, working with colleagues from the local policing team, also impounded two uninsured cars in Tinsley today.

The driver of a Vauxhall Corsa, who had no licence, tried to give officers the slip but was caught, SYP Operational Support tweeted.

The driver of a Toyota Rav 4 also had no licence.
