Van damaged in youths' gas canister attack in Rotherham

YOUTHS set fire to a gas canister and threw it under a van this morning (Friday).

The incident happened at around 10.40am on Fellowsfield Way, Kimberworth.

A police spokeswoman said: “A group of youths are said to have set fire to a gas canister and thrown it under the van, causing minor damage to the vehicle.

“It was reported that damage had been caused to a van parked on Fellowsfield Way.

“No one was injured in the incident.”

Anyone who saw what happened should call 101 quoting incident number 292 of June 15.
