Upper Haugh roadworks to be in place for five extra days

EMERGENCY roadworks to repair a gas leak are expected to last five days longer than originally planned.

Cadent Gas engineers are carrying out repairs outside the Marquis pub, Stubbin Road, Upper Haugh, following a series of gas leaks.

Works were originally due to be complete by Wednesday, October 25 but a spokeswoman said the temporary traffic lights would remain in place until Monday, October 30.
