Update: Rotherham United and the hunt for a new striker
The Millers have identified the player they'd like to complete their attacking options and manager Paul Warne spoke with him last week about a season-long loan at AESSEAL New York Stadium.
However, the forward is a wanted man and at least three other third-tier sides are among the teams keen to acquire his services.

"Then he has a choice of a few clubs."
Rotherham have Michael Smith and Freddie Ladapo as their front two, with youngster Josh Kayode as back-up, and are keen to reinforce their frontline before the transfer window closes on August 31.
Warne considered bringing on Kayode in the latter stages of the Argyle clash but opted to make his three substitutions in other areas.
"I miss the five-subs rule," he said. "Three's not enough for me. I'm greedy."

"We need someone else to come in and challenge up the top of the pitch. If anything happens to one of the three strikers, we're down to two."
The Millers will turn their attention to other names on their wanted list if the player chooses to go elsewhere.
Meanwhile, a new left-back is due at New York tomorrow after his permanent deal suffered a hold-up last week.
"I hope he's here on Monday," Warne said. "I believe that's the case."
