UPDATE: Man charged after drugs worth £170,000 recovered in Rawmarsh

A 26-YEAR-old man has been charged after cannabis plants — valued at over £170,000 — were recovered from a drugs raid in Rawmarsh yesterday (Wednesday).

A 26-YEAR-old man has been charged after cannabis plants - valued at over £170,000 were recovered from a drugs raid in Rawmarsh. 

Jashar Qenani, of no fixed abode, has been charged with production of cannabis and is currently remanded in custody.

The North Rotherham Neighbourhood Policing Team executed the drugs warrant at a property on Green Lane yesterday (Wednesday).

"The team found five rooms containing over 300 cannabis plants at various stages of growth, with an estimated street value of over £170,000," said a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police.
