Ulley Country Park attack victim 'able to speak to officers'

A MAN who was found unconscious at Ulley Country Park remains in hospital four weeks after he was attacked.

Adrian Kozak (37), a Polish national who has connections to the Masbrough and Ferham park areas, was found in the foetal position of an angling peg at Ulley Reservoir on Monday, October 16.

Det Insp Mark Montiero said there had been a “significant improvement” in Mr Kozak’s condition and that he had now spoken to police officers about the incident.

A 29-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, has been released pending further investigation, Det Insp Montiero said.
