UKIP leadership hopeful launching bid in Rotherham

ANNE Marie Waters will launch her bid to become UKIP leader at an event at AESSEAL New York Stadium next week.

Waters is hoping to succeed former leader Paul Nuttall, who resigned after the party's disappointing performance at the recent General Election.

The founder of Sharia Watch UK and ex-leader of Pegida UK announced her intention to stand for party leadership at an event in Manchester organised by former EDL leader Stephen Yaxley-Lennon.

Centerplate UK - which runs hospitality events at the NYS - confirmed to the Advertiser UKIP had booked a room next Saturday.

The event is set to take place on Saturday, July 1 at 1pm.
