Two teenagers arrested following Goldthorpe knife attack

TWO schoolboys have been arrested in connection with a knife attack in Goldthorpe.

The boys, aged 14 and 15, were arrested today (Wednesday) on suspicion of grievous bodily harm for an attack on a man in Probert Avenue at 5pm on Monday.

A man in his 40s was assaulted by a group of offenders while he was on his way home from work, a police spokeswoman said.

He is believed to have been found with a stab wound to his head.

The two boys are being held in police custody, added the spokeswoman.
