Two Rotherham men released on bail in Sheffield murder inquiry

TWO Rotherham men who were arrested on suspicion of murdering a teenager in Sheffield on New Year's Day have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

The men, aged 22 and 27, were arrested last week on suspicion of the murder of Isaiah Usen-Satchell (18) on January 1, and were bailed on Saturday.

Mr Usen-Satchell was taken to hospital on January 1 after receiving slash wounds to his arms during a reported fight between a group of men on St Aidan's Road, Sheffield, at about 4.20am that morning, a police spokeswoman said.

He died later that day as a result of an injury near to his wrist, she added.

Three other men from Rotherham, two aged 18 and one aged 20, who were arrested on New Year’s Day on suspicion of murder, remain on bail.
