Two rescued from car after Wombwell crash
TWO casualties were rescued by firefighters following a two-vehicle collision in Wombwell.
Crews from Dearne and Cudworth stations attended Summer Lane at 7.50pm yesterday (Thursday).
A South yorkshire Fire & Rescue spokesperson said: “One car was on its side and two casualties trapped.
“Firefighters extricated the casualties and were then taken to hospital by ambulance.”
