Two overnight fires caused by discarded cigarettes

There was a blaze involving clothing and garden equipment in a shed at Carr Head Lane in Bolton-on-Dearne.

Firefighters were called shortly before 10.30pm last night (Sunday) and found the blaze out on arrival.

And a pile of rubbish behind a house on Highthorn Road in Kilnhurst was alight shortly after 2.30am today.

The property and a neighbouring home were smoke-logged and firefighters left just after 3.10am.
