Two more micropubs to open in the borough

A GROWING thirst for micropubs is continuing with the approval of two more venues in the borough.

Sharon Oliver has been granted permission to convert a former DIY store on Brinsworth Lane, Brinsworth.

She said the venue would cater for about 30 people but will not offer food or music.

And Jason White’s plan to open at a former picture framing premises in Swinton was also passed by Rotherham Borough Council.

The pub will open from noon to 11pm daily and Mr White said he was keen to work closely with local ale suppliers.
