Two more bailed in Mexborough murder inquiry - accused due in court today

TWO men arrested on suspicion of the murder of Lewis Williams have both been bailed pending further enquiries.

A 32-year-old man from Doncaster and a 22-year-old man from Rotherham will remain on police bail while enquiries continue, said South Yorkshire Police.

Two other men, both aged 20, also remain on bail as part of the investigation, said a police spokeswoman.

Lewis suffered fatal injuries during a reported shooting on Wath Road in Mexborough last Monday.

A 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are charged with his murder. They have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at court today. 

Police are still appealing for information as they continue their murder investigation.
