Two men injured in Aston and Swallownest suspected stabbings
Police were called to McColl’s convenience store in Aston at around 8.15pm to reports of a disturbance in the car park.
It is reported that a group of men with their faces covered approached two parked cars and assaulted a 21-year-old man, before leaving the scene.

Hide AdThe man was taken to hospital, where he was treated for suspected stab injuries to his arm and ribs, police said.
Officers then received information about another reported stabbing, which had happened outside Del’s Convenience store in Swallownest around ten minutes before the Aston incident.
An 18-year-old man was treated at hospital for suspected slash wounds to his hands and leg.
Both victims remained in hospital in a stable condition this morning.

Hide AdA South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said the incidents were believed to be connected and officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
