Two men charged after woman assaulted in early morning attack
TWO men have been charged with causing grievous bodily harm after a woman was assaulted in the early hours of the morning.
The incident occurred on Herringthorpe Valley Road at around 3.30am on Saturday (July 7).
The two men, both aged 22, were charged in connection with the attack on the 32-year-old woman, who was taken to hospital where she was treated for non life-threatening injuries.
A police spokesman said two juvenile females had also been bailed in relation to the assault.
Police have urged people with information to call 101.
