Two hay bales and rubbish torched in Rotherham

ARSONISTS set fire to two hay bales and some rubbish in Rotherham overnight. 

Maltby firefighters were called to Peak Lane, Hooton Levitt, to two hay bales on fire at 8.35pm. The crew were on scene until 9.15pm.

At 9pm, a crew from Rotherham station was dispatched to a rubbish fire on Midland Road, Masbrough, and left the area after ten minutes.

Both fires were deliberate, said a spokesperson from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
